We’ve been seeing braids popping up for quite a while now (which in the trend world means more than 10 minutes).   But they have definitely hit critical mass as of late.  At  T’eez – A Thomas Sena Salon we have been doing a lot of wood shedding (practicing) with several braiding classes.  Braids are now mainstream and can be tailored for almost everyone for every occasion, be it casual,  formal, business orfun, there is a braid for you.  Even as trendy as they have become you or your stylist can still show a lot of originality.  That is why we think these braids are so fun.  What kind of braid and how and where you incorporate it into your style is where the pavement hits the road.   At T’eez we suggest trying loose and willowy braids.  Even doing a little back combing before starting.  All the usual principles of hair styling apply, i.e. form,  function and balance.  But get creative and have some fun coming up with your own look or let your stylist do their thing.
